Call For Tutorials

The 22nd International Conference on Software Analysis, Evolution, and Reengineering (SANER 2015) invites proposals to organize and present tutorials related to the topics of the conference. Tutorials help disseminate state-of-the-art research and ideas quickly and efficiently to a large audience. The topics of tutorials are usually well-established and mature thereby providing an excellent and accelerated source of learning at SANER 2015. The tutorials are also a great way to jump start a new researcher into an already established field.

SANER 2015 will feature three tutorial formats: full-day tutorials, half-day tutorials, and 90-minute technical briefings (mini-tutorials). The tutorials are planned to be scheduled in parallel with the workshops and/or main conference. Proposed tutorials are allowed to have been presented before.

A summary of each accepted tutorial will be published in the SANER 2015 proceedings.

Tutorial Proposals should contain

The case for support should not exceed two pages. If the tutorial (or a previous version of it) has been presented before, the proposal should give the date and location, including the approximate number of attendees.

How to Submit

Tutorial proposals should be sent via email to and with the subject line “SANER 2015 Tutorial Submission”. Please send one zip file with pdf documents containing all the requested information.

Each submission will be reviewed by the organizing committee. Authors of accepted tutorials will be required to present their tutorials at the conference.

Accepted tutorials are invited to submit a summary of their tutorial (up to four pages) to be published in the proceedings and a 2–4 minute teaser video (to be published on the SANER website) advertising the tutorial to potential attendees. Tutorial summary papers must conform to the IEEE proceedings paper format guidelines, see

Tutorial presenters receive a refund of their registration and part of stay up to $2,000 upon receipts.
