Notifications December 15th, 2014

The 22nd edition of the the International Conference on Software Analysis, Evolution, and Reengineering (SANER’15) will feature a Doctoral Symposium. The Symposium gives PhD students a setting in which to present their work to experienced researchers outside of their normal work environment. Further, researchers who recently completed their thesis may present their results and engage in a discussion on continuing their research. The topics of interest for this track are the same as the main research track and concern all the topics in the research and practice of software analysis, evolution, and reengineering.

New PhD students considering participation should have at a minimum chosen a dissertation topic and outlined their research proposal.

Mature PhD students who wish to benefit from discussion and advice regarding the completion of their research project should present their existing publication(s) and describe how they plan to complete their PhD.

Postdoctoral researchers who have completed their PhD within the last 2 years should summarize their thesis and describe their research program for the next few years.

Students and researchers will present their work to a panel of experts.

Submissions should be 1 page (including all text, references, appendices, and figures) and conform to the IEEE proceedings style (see http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html). PhD students with accepted papers will give a short presentation to a committee of experts.

The doctoral symposium co-chairs will select the submission for presentation.
