The 22nd edition of the the International Conference on Software Analysis, Evolution, and Reengineering (SANER’15) will feature an Industry track. The aim of this track is to bring together practitioners and academic researchers to perform joint research work, and to provide the industry with a platform for reaching out to academia. Papers should be four-page long (including all text, references, appendices, and figures) and conform to the IEEE proceedings style (i.e., the same used from the main IEEE SANER conference). At least one contributing author must be from industry.
A good industrial paper should:
1) Fall under the topics mentioned for the SANER 2015 research track;
2) Discuss industrial practice and experience reports describing problems (and their solutions) encountered in real applications, or
3) Reports on real projects and papers describing (the challenges involved in) knowledge transfer from academia to industry and vice-versa are also welcome, or
4) Discuss a challenging problem currently occurring in industry, for which practitioners want feedback and-or inputs from the academic community.
Each submission should describe the setting of the study, provide a motivation, explain the events leading to the outcomes, including the challenges faced, summarize the outcomes, and conclude with lessons learned, take-away messages, and advice based on the experience described and lessons learned.
All submissions will be evaluated on the basis of industry relevance, originality, soundness, empirical and-or practical validation, quality and consistency of presentation.
Proceedings: Accepted papers will be included in the SANER 2015 proceedings. How to submit: Submission of a 4 pages proposal in IEEE proceedings format is via EasyChair at:
